AI PAS level B certification exam

Level B is aimed at the specialists without experience. Passing level B certification exam confirms that the specialist has sufficient knowledge to work successfully in the field of investment projects analysis and business plans preparation.

Level В does not require wide background of involvement in actual projects. Testing is mainly aimed at checking whether the theory is understood correctly. That’s why level B exam consists of 40 small questions each of which, as a rule, checks knowledge of one item of these requirements using a made-up simplified situation. Questions require either knowledge of techniques or its application in the form of calculating the most important ratios. Tasks involve topics that experts on strategic financial planning and fundamental analysis face in their work.

To receive the certificate one must answer correctly at least 32 questions out of 40.

Estimated time for the exam — 1, 5 astronomical hours without a break.

List of candidates, confirmed their qualification level are published on Alt-Invest website 2weeks after the date of the certification exam.

An appeal against examination results in the PAS B level is not accepted.

Price for level B exam is 3 500 rubles per specialist.

Preparation for certification can be full-time (at the regular training) and distance. Regular training is a 5-day course immediately prior to certification exam. Distance course takes 5 weeks.
